Community Partnership Opportunity
Building Access, Opportunity & Community Through Soccer
Final Third Foundation, in partnership with Nationwide Children’s Hospital, is already supporting Columbus City Schools students through soccer and futsal leagues. The opportunity now is to expand what is already happening into a complete pathway from school-based play to Prep Academy training, F3 Academy, affordable competition, summer camp, and college exposure.

This Pathway Is Already Happening
CCS students are already participating in soccer and futsal leagues that F3 supports as a soccer partner for Nationwide Children’s Hospital. These leagues introduce students to organized soccer, teamwork, wellness, mentorship, and community.
F3 Academy, the F3 Development League, College ID Camps, and Summer Camp are already helping create a stronger, more affordable player pathway for youth throughout Central Ohio.
Prep Academy programming is the next bridge in this pathway. Sponsorship would allow F3 to expand this model into targeted CCS communities through weekly training blocks in locations such as Linden, the South Side, and Pathways Park.
The Pathway
From School-Based Play to College Exposure
This model connects students already participating in CCS soccer and futsal leagues to a larger pathway of training, competition, mentorship, summer programming, and college exposure.

Why Support Matters
F3 is intentionally building one of the most accessible youth soccer pathways in Central Ohio. From school-based soccer and futsal leagues (supported by NCH) to Prep Academy training, F3 Academy, affordable league play, summer camp opportunities, and college exposure, the goal is to create a true year-round development model for students and families.
While families currently pay only $100 per year for F3 Academy participation, the true cost of sustaining this larger pathway is significantly higher. Costs include coaching, training, league play, tournaments, field space, equipment, transportation support, staffing, administration, scholarships, wellness and education programming, summer camp access, and college exposure opportunities.
Support does not simply fund soccer participation. It helps create long-term access to high-quality programming, mentorship, wellness opportunities, and educational enrichment for students regardless of family income or background.
