Program Manager

  • Program Manager Job Description

    We are looking to hire a Program Manager to lead Soccer & Literacy programs at elementary and middle schools in the central Columbus area. These programs can be during the school day, after the school day, and/or during summer months based on each school’s partnership with F3.

    Reports To:

    The Program Manager (PM) will report to the Soccer & Literacy leadership team.

    Job Overview:

    PMs are responsible for the deliverance of high quality programming to partner schools around the area. PMs will carry out the responsibilities assigned to their role, whether it be regarding the soccer and/or literacy portions of the program. PMs will work in pairs with Program Manager Assistants (PMAs) at assigned locations, and specific duties will be assigned and outlined to each PM before the start of their specific program. In some cases, PMs will be responsible for delegating tasks and responsibilities to PMAs.

    Responsibilities and Duties:

    Complete pre-program checklist and trainings

    Report to schools with enough time to set up before program commencement

    Be responsible for program materials pertaining to your assigned school (i.e. books/pencils/worksheets, soccer materials)

    Take attendance during each program session

    Follow outlined curriculum and prepare lessons as needed.

    Communicate with F3 / school staff regarding any updates, issues, necessities, etc

    Ensure that surveys are passed out, completed during the first week of programming and that completed surveys are reported to the assigned Data Manager

    Check in regularly with F3 staff

    Work to ensure all program goals are reached or exceeded

    Work collaboratively with fellow program managers and F3 leadership to establish best practices and to continuously improve as individuals and as an organization, including performance reviews as the S&L Leadership Team deems necessary.

    List school(s) that PM will be at, with days of week/times of program

    Remuneration:

    Note: The majority of our programs run 1-2 times per week. If a program runs 3-4 times per week, compensation will be directly proportional to the 1-2 times per week pay rate structure detailed below.

    Each school assignment will be scheduled by the F3 leadership team based on school needs and the availability of F3 teammates. All program managers commence as assistants and may progress to lead status for a specific school placement based on experience and performance. The contingent pay structure is school-specific and dependent on the Program Manager's assignment and scheduling.

    Qualifications:

    Reliable transportation

    Ability to work with children and remain friendly, calm, and patient at all times

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    Ability to set rules and guidelines for children to follow

    High organization and planning skills

    Successful completion of BCI/FBI Background Check

  • We are looking to hire a Program Manager Assistant to support Program Managers in running Soccer & Literacy programs at elementary and middle schools in the central Columbus area. These programs can be during the school day, after the school day, and/or during summer months based on each school’s partnership with F3.

    The Program Manager Assistant (PMA) will report to his/her respective Program Manager and the Soccer & Literacy leadership team.
